VENTREX - Reporting System
At VENTREX Automotive GmbH, we have implemented an internal reporting system in adherence to the EU Directive safeguarding individuals reporting breaches of Union law, commonly referred to as the "Whistleblowing Directive," and in compliance with the Austrian Whistleblower Protection Act.

Our whistleblower system enables both internal and external individuals to promptly and effortlessly report any misconduct associated with VENTREX Automotive GmbH that may impact the well-being of colleagues, employees, or individuals directly affiliated with our company.
How and what can I report?
Our secure reporting channel is accessible to all employees, former employees, suppliers, customers, students, interns, and other internal and external individuals who have observed a violation of laws during their professional activities within our company. This reporting mechanism is designed to report breaches of legal provisions and our Code of Conduct, contributing to risk mitigation within our organization.

Please note that this system isn't intended for general inquiries or personal complaints (e.g., issues regarding promotions/salary). Your managers or the compliance unit are available for such concerns.

Violations concerning to the following areas can be reported via this platform:
  • Violations of criminal law on corruption
  • Violations of compliance/data protection regulations (GDPR), protection of privacy, and employee protection regulations (excluding violations of labor law provisions or personal misconduct)
  • IT incidents
  • Violations of environmental protection regulations, public health, as well as product and traffic safety
  • Violations such as tax fraud, tax evasion, and breaches of EU anti-fraud and internal market regulations (e.g., corporate tax and competition rules).
You have the option to digitally report information through the whistleblower system, either anonymously or by providing your contact details. While we encourage disclosing your name, anonymous reporting is also possible. In both cases, we commit to maintaining ongoing communication. We assure the acknowledgment of all relevant reports concerning the above-mentioned areas, their review, appropriate action, and providing feedback to all whistleblowers within 3 months through this reporting system.

Every report will be handled with the utmost confidentiality. Further details can be found under the "Data Protection Information" section.
What happens with my report?

Each report undergoes evaluation and an initial review. Only select and trustworthy individuals at VENTREX have access to your reports and any personal data you voluntarily provide. If the report is compliance-related, an appropriate investigation will be initiated. Anonymous reports also allow ongoing communication between you and the reporting office. As a whistleblower, you can request information on the status and outcome of the process at any time.

What protection do I enjoy as a whistleblower?

The Whistleblower Protection Act safeguards you against employment-related repercussions from the company and shields you from civil, criminal, or administrative liability if you report justified misconduct through the internal whistleblowing system. It's crucial to have reasonable grounds for the accuracy of your information based on available data at the time of reporting. Intentionally reporting false information or disparaging colleagues constitutes a compliance violation and may have legal consequences. Individuals obtaining information through criminal acts and using it for reporting purposes are not protected by law.

IMPORTANT: Intentional false reporting (defamation) is prohibited and may result in legal consequences!
